For the client's file the advocate decides why it exists and is the data fiduciary. JurisFolio hosts the matter, runs AI Assist, and writes PDFs into the owner's Drive as processor.
JurisFolio is a fiduciary only for its own purposes, such as the advocate's email for the subscription.
Sub-processors include the identity providers (Google, Microsoft), the Postgres host, and the model provider for AI Assist. When the advocate fetches today's cause list or case details, that call goes to eCourts Services with the bar enrolment, the saved complexes, the date, and the captcha they type. The e-filing password is not on that call. Document bytes in Drive or OneDrive are under the owner's cloud account. Fee amounts and payment notes stay in the encrypted matter record. They are not sent to the model, and they are omitted for a client and for a 48-hour link. Send update opens WhatsApp on the advocate's own phone. JurisFolio does not send that message.
