Privacy Policy - JurisFolio

Effective date: 3 October 2026 · Last updated: 2 November 2026
Contact: privacy@jurisfolio.app

JurisFolio provides a digital case file for advocates. Structured matter data is stored in PostgreSQL database juris_folio. Case-document bytes live in the owner's Google Drive or OneDrive.

This policy describes the product as implemented. It is not legal advice and not a DPDP certification. The advocate is the data fiduciary for the client's file. JurisFolio is the processor of the practice book, and a fiduciary only for its own purposes such as the advocate's email for the subscription.

Who we are

Operator contact: privacy@jurisfolio.app. Service: the JurisFolio app at https://jurisfolio.tailce422e.ts.net and this website.

What we process

What we do not collect as columns

Aadhaar numbers, biometrics, payment-card numbers. Privileged note text is not sent to analytics or crash reports.

Why

To provide the case file, Calendar, Due, today's cause list, the fee register, sharing, Fetch case details, and AI Assist; to bill the ₹399 / ₹999 subscription; to keep the service secure.

Sharing

Google and Microsoft for sign-in and, after a later consent, Drive or OneDrive. When you fetch today's cause list or case details, eCourts Services receives the bar enrolment, the saved complexes, the date, and the captcha you type. The e-filing password is not included. A model provider runs AI Assist server-side; the matter graph is the memory. We do not train a model on customer files. People you invite see what that role allows.

Send update opens WhatsApp on your phone with the next date. You send the message. JurisFolio does not transmit it and does not store it.

Your rights

Access, correction, and erasure: email privacy@jurisfolio.app or use Privacy request and Delete account. Export and delete of a matter are product requirements for the DPDP timeline.

Children

A family or criminal matter can include a child. That record needs a tighter rule than an ordinary client file, decided before those matters are stored as a special class.
